Work today’s list

Your board already knows what is due. This playbook has your assistant take you through it one deal at a time, and every deal you touch leaves with a new next step and a date.

Say this to your assistant

Let’s work my Customer Magic list for today. Start with the top three.

Works in any assistant connected to Customer Magic. Not connected yet?

You need

  • Deals on your board with next steps
  • The time you would give your follow-ups anyway

You end with

  • Nothing overdue: each due step is done, moved with a reason, or dropped
  • A new dated next step on every deal you touched
  • The three things waiting for you tomorrow
What happens, in order
  1. 01

    It catches you up

Two lines on what happened since last time: steps you confirmed from the morning mail, deals handed to you, anything won.

  2. 02

    It shows the top three

Not the whole list. Who, what the step is, how late it is. It also names any live deal that has no next step at all.

  3. 03

You take them one at a time

Done, doing it now, not today, or not ever. Each answer is recorded properly. “Not today” needs a reason, in your words.

  4. 04

    Done needs proof

A step is marked done with the message or meeting that proves it. Without one, it is flagged as probably done and you confirm with one tap.

  5. 05

    It closes the session

What got done, what moved and to when, and the three things due next.

What it will never do

  • Read out forty items
  • Mark something done on its own say-so
  • Leave a deal without a next step

Read what your assistant reads

This is the file itself, section by section. It names the exact actions your assistant takes on your board, in the order it takes them.

  • Top three first. Do not read out forty items. Start with the three that matter most and ask before going further.
  • Done needs proof. complete_action only with a reference — a sent-message id, a calendar event id, a link. No reference: use flag_action and let the person confirm with one tap.
  • A deal never leaves your hands without a next step. Finish one, name the next in the same turn.
  • An overdue step is settled, not carried. Done, moved with a reason, or dropped.
